Starting November 1, Arizona residents across nine counties will have more affordable health insurance options, thanks to Ambetter from Arizona Complete Health. The open enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace® will run until January 15, 2025, giving people the chance to sign up for coverage that kicks in as early as January 1.
With healthcare costs on the rise, Ambetter from Arizona Complete Health promises relief. The company, part of Centene Corporation, will offer a variety of plans, each designed to fit the needs and budgets of Arizonans. From Maricopa to Pima, nine counties will be covered, and those who enroll by December 15 will be the first to benefit from these new options.
What’s New for 2025?
Ambetter is bringing several new perks and keeping popular benefits that have been a hit with members. One of the standout features is 24/7 virtual care. Now, you can skip the waiting room for common illnesses like the flu or respiratory infections. Just hop on your smartphone or computer and talk to a doctor from home, day or night.
In addition to virtual care, Ambetter is making online enrollment a breeze. You can browse plans, check for financial assistance, and even start the enrollment process from your phone. The system even saves your progress if you need to take a break.
For those looking to get healthier and save a little money in the process, the My Health Pays® program is back. You can rack up points—up to $500—just for sticking to healthy habits. Earn rewards for everyday things like eating well or exercising, and use them to help cover your healthcare costs.
Big News for Fitness Lovers
Starting this fall, Ambetter members will also get a free YMCA membership, either in person or virtually through YMCA360. That means access to more than 500 fitness classes and health resources, all from your computer or smartphone. Whether you’re into yoga, strength training, or even youth sports training, there’s something for everyone.
Keeping What Works
Members won’t have to worry about switching doctors or hospitals. The trusted network of providers remains the same, even with the transition to what will now be called the Premier Network. You’ll still get access to the same doctors and hospitals you know, with no disruption to your care.
Who Can Sign Up?
Ambetter’s plans will be available in Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, and Santa Cruz counties. If you live in one of these areas, you can explore your options and potentially find a plan that costs less and gives you more.
To learn more about these plans or to start the enrollment process, head to Ambetter’s website. The sooner you enroll, the sooner you can breathe easier knowing you’ve got affordable healthcare in your corner.
